About the Role
PEOPLE HUNT agency is hiring a Manual QA Engineer on behalf of an international iGaming game studio specializing in instant and crash games. The studio focuses on high-intensity gameplay, real-time mechanics, and non-standard game design built on modern game engines.
This role is ideal for a QA professional with a strong understanding of real-money games, betting logic, and round-based mechanics, who is comfortable testing both frontend game clients and backend integrations.
You will play a key role in ensuring game stability, correctness of calculations, smooth user experience, and high product quality across releases.
Key Responsibilities
Test game clients including UI, animations, round sequences, balance changes, and user interactions
Verify correctness of game mechanics: bets, wins, multipliers, RTP-driven behavior, and edge cases
Test backend integrations with aggregators, operators, and game servers
Validate API responses, WebSocket communication, status synchronization, and round lifecycle
Perform exploratory testing of new game mechanics and prototype features
Create, maintain, and document detailed test cases, checklists, and test plans
Reproduce, analyze, and document defects with clear steps, expected/actual results, and logs
Collaborate closely with developers, game designers, backend engineers, and QA automation
Check visual accuracy, UI alignment, transitions, performance, and overall player experience
Test iframe integrations, loading flows, and multi-device compatibility
Support regression testing and verify release readiness
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer in iGaming or game development
Strong understanding of game logic: betting, payouts, RTP, round progression, and bonus features
Experience testing interactive UI, animations, and dynamic elements
Solid backend testing skills (business logic, calculations, state transitions)
Understanding of client–server architecture
Hands-on experience with WebSockets and real-time game flows
Understanding of REST APIs
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Experience creating structured test documentation
Ability to reproduce complex issues and communicate effectively with developers
Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Very good Russian and English languages
Nice to Have
Experience working with game aggregators or operator integrations
Knowledge of test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.)
Basic SQL for data validation
Experience working with logs, monitoring tools, or browser developer consoles
Understanding of QA automation basics or interest in Playwright / Cypress
Experience testing real-time or high-load systems
Interest in game mechanics, math models, and player behavior analysis
Experience with abuse or exploit testing (bonus abuse, timing issues, edge cases)
Basic knowledge of security testing (input validation, fraud vectors, client-side risks)
Familiarity with load or stress testing
