Our fast-growing iGaming client is looking for an experienced Sports Manager to become a key player in the development and operation of their sportsbook solution.
You will oversee sports operations, manage margin and profitability, build and optimize sports logic, and take a hands-on role in daily sportsbook operations. You will also collaborate on future integrations, technical coordination, and the long-term development of the sports vertical.
This role is ideal for a specialist ready to grow into a leadership position and build a sports division from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Integration & Operations
Set up and support the integration of the sportsbook solution with existing products and workflows.
Work with the admin panel: limits, parameters, restrictions, core settings.
Manage profitability and margin: own the “math” of the sportsbook and ensure positive performance.
Develop operational rules, policies, and segmentation logic.
Risk Management & Stability
Understand betting logic, player behavior, risk indicators, and volatility.
Collect and analyze operational data to identify leaks, opportunities, and improvements.
Set limits and risk parameters to maintain a healthy profit–risk balance.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, CRM/Retention, and Product teams.
Participate in creating sports promotions, campaigns, and special offers.
Growth & Development of the Vertical
Build foundational processes, standards, and operating rules for the sports unit.
Scale the team as the sportsbook vertical grows.
What You Bring
Experience in sports betting: sports management, trading, risk, or operations.
Strong logical thinking, attention to detail, and discipline.
Ambition and desire to grow within a fast-scaling iGaming ecosystem.
Bonus: personal betting experience and understanding of betting mechanics.
Ability to build processes from scratch.
Strong margin-management skills and P&L mindset.
What Makes You Stand Out
5+ years driving social or sports-related strategy for high-growth sports, media, or entertainment brands.
Proven track record of scaling accounts from hundreds of thousands to multi-millions of followers.
Deep platform fluency (TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X, Shorts) and sports content trends.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (creative, editorial, production, analytics).
Strong creative instincts with analytical rigor.
Experience with live-sports content, rights clearance, and rapid-response content workflows.
Comfort working in gambling or regulated industries.
A sharp, culturally aware, fearless communication style.
