🔧 About the Role

PEOPLE HUNT is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of an ambitious and innovative iGaming company building high-availability, low-latency platforms for casino and sportsbook products across multiple regions.

You’ll play a key role in designing, operating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and security for real-time betting applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work with top-tier experts in a fully remote, flexible environment while shaping a bold new brand in the online gaming space.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Build and operate high-availability, low-latency platforms for casino/sportsbook across multi-region setups.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (canary, blue/green, instant rollback).

• Implement infrastructure as code and manage secure, scalable cloud topologies.

• Ensure system observability, manage on-call rotations, postmortems, and performance metrics.

• Optimize for streaming, caching, and queuing real-time betting data.

• Enforce security and compliance (GDPR, WAF/DDoS, vulnerability scanning).

• Plan for traffic peaks and auto-scaling; balance performance and cost.

• Collaborate with product and dev teams to improve developer experience and reliability.

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, ideally in gaming, fintech, betting, or streaming.

• Strong expertise in GCP (AWS/Azure accepted with solid IaC experience).

• Deep hands-on skills with Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Helm, Ansible.

• Solid understanding of HA/DR design, low-latency systems, and autoscaling.

• Familiarity with security standards: GDPR, WAF/DDoS, vulnerability scanning, secrets management.

• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OTel, SLIs/SLOs, incident tracking.

• Networking: VPC, Cloudflare, multi-region routing.

• Data: experience tuning PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, BigQuery.

• Strong cross-functional communication with product, dev, and marketing teams.
