We at PEOPLE HUNT are hiring on behalf of a fast-growing iGaming start-up that’s building a next-generation gaming platform. We’re looking for an experienced CRM & Retention Lead - someone who can design, build, and optimize engaging communication strategies that keep players coming back.
What You’ll Do
- Hands-on management of the CRM system (Customer.io): setup and launch of automated flows, segmentation, trigger-based journeys, and A/B tests.
- Technical setup and maintenance of CRM channels: email, push, Telegram, Discord, SMS.
- Manage domain warm-up, monitor deliverability, and ensure high-quality communications.
- Develop and implement gamification and engagement mechanics (challenges, bonus drops, crash jackpots, tournaments, player motivation systems).
- Build and execute retention strategies for key player segments.
- Create and optimize loyalty programs (cashback, rakeback, bonuses, exclusive offers).
- Analyze player behavior, identify churn drivers, and develop actions to reduce churn rate.
- Implement data-driven personalization (behavioral triggers, dynamic segmentation, tailored offers).
- Improve user onboarding and post-deposit engagement.
- Collect and act on user feedback through surveys and UX research to enhance the player experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in CRM / retention marketing, ideally in iGaming, digital products, or web3.
- Strong hands-on experience with Customer.io.
- Understanding of the technical side of CRM ecosystems - setup of channels, triggers, domains, and integrations.
- Proven ability to design and scale gamification tools and engagement mechanics.
- Comfortable building processes from scratch in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Strong understanding of analytics, player behavior, and personalization principles.
- Experience collaborating closely with product, analytics, creative, and marketing teams.
- Experience leading a small team (3–6 people) while staying hands-on with execution.
Nice to Have
- Background in iGaming, fintech, betting, or other high-retention industries; familiarity with crypto audiences.
- Experience with automation and trigger-based communication tools.
- Experience developing referral and loyalty programs.
