PEOPLE HUNT is hiring on behalf of an independent, globally distributed game studio and iGaming tech provider that develops top-tier online slot games for regulated markets. The team is focused on originality, quality, and flexibility - building custom game mechanics and delivering beautiful, responsive gameplay.

We’re searching for a detail-oriented 2D Animator with strong Spine 2D skills to bring life and motion to high-quality slot games. You’ll be working on symbol animations, interface transitions, background effects, win sequences, bonuses, and more - contributing directly to the visual identity and emotional impact of each game.

✨ What You’ll Animate

• Game symbols, characters, and bonus events (e.g., free spins, win sequences)

• UI animations and visual feedback for player interactions

• Background effects and motion-based storytelling

• Spine rigs with mesh deformation, IK, and animation blending

You’ll collaborate daily with illustrators, developers, and game designers to ensure consistency, style alignment, and smooth integration into the game pipeline (PixiJS-based).

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in 2D animation for games or interactive media

• Advanced skills in Spine 2D (rigging, mesh deformation, constraints, animation blending)

• Solid grasp of classic animation principles - timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through

• Experience preparing clean, optimized animations for PixiJS

• Ability to adapt to a given visual style and work with existing assets

• Strong attention to detail and animation clarity

• A portfolio showing Spine animations with character movement, effects, and symbols is required

💡 Preferred (but not required)

• Experience animating for slot games or other iGaming content

• Familiarity with game UI/UX and player feedback patterns

• Experience working in an agile, asset-driven game production environment

• Knowledge of JSON-based animation export/import flows
