About the Role
PEOPLE HUNT Agency is looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Node.js) to join a global technology company known for building high-load web platforms with microservice architecture. The systems process terabytes of data and serve over 100 million users worldwide.
This role is ideal for developers ready to own architectural decisions, work with cutting-edge infrastructure, and contribute to large-scale backend development in a flexible, bureaucracy-free environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop backend microservices and system architecture from scratch
Optimize and support high-traffic backend systems
Work with cloud infrastructure and orchestration tools (AWS, Kubernetes)
Collaborate closely with DevOps and product teams
Key Requirements
6+ years of backend development experience
Strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
Solid experience working with SQL databases
Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka
Hands-on experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring
Ability to take ownership of architectural and technical decisions
Nice to Have
Experience with JVM-based languages, especially Kotlin
Understanding or experience with Android development
Familiarity with MongoDB, gRPC, API Gateway, and Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns
