We're partnering with one of the most exciting names in next-gen sports media - a fast-scaling startup that's redefining how fans engage with live sports content. With over 70 million views across platforms in the past 30 days alone (spanning MMA, Boxing, NFL, Padel and more), they're building a global content ecosystem powered by creators who live and breathe their sport.
They’re bold, irreverent, obsessed with live sports - and they’re just getting started. Darts and Football are next, with plans to grow through niche verticals and targeted acquisitions.
We’re now searching for a visionary Head of Social Media & Content to lead the charge.
🎯 The Role
As Head of Social, you won’t just run the content machine - you’ll design it. You’ll set the roadmap for multi-platform dominance, craft the tone of voice, oversee a team of producers and creators, and develop formats that spark fandom and go viral. You’ll shape how millions interact with live sports in real time - and you'll need to thrive in that adrenaline-fueled chaos.
🛠️ Responsibilities
Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy across organic and paid social - channel mix, formats, cadence, audience goals.
Manage and mentor creators across verticals (MMA, NFL, Boxing, Padel, Darts, Football), ensuring content is both distinct and on-brand.
Build repeatable, culturally sharp formats - from behind-the-scenes raw cuts to live watch-alongs, stat-driven explainers, and mini-docs.
Own the content calendar - balancing always-on storytelling with live event spikes (fight nights, drafts, transfer windows, etc.).
Deliver on KPIs: growth, retention, engagement, watch-time, conversions into commercial and monetization funnels.
Build performance dashboards, run A/B tests, analyse content data daily, and adapt strategies in real time.
Partner with sales teams on branded content, gambling teams on odds integration, and creators on contract management.
Recruit and onboard new creators, editors and producers. Build training systems so quality scales with speed.
Ensure every post cuts through the noise - edgy, informed, and unmistakably bold—while respecting compliance and platform rules.
🧠 What You Bring
5+ years in social/content leadership at high-growth sports, media or entertainment brands.
Proven experience growing accounts from six figures to multi-million followers.
Deep fluency in TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, X and Shorts - both content trends and back-end optimisation.
Built and managed multidisciplinary teams across creative, editorial, production and analytics.
Balanced creative instinct with data obsession - comfortable in both Adobe CC and platforms like Looker or Data Studio.
Experience publishing live-sport content and handling rights clearance.
Bonus: experience working with gambling or regulated industries.
Fearless, funny, culturally tuned-in voice. Controversy doesn’t scare you—it energizes you.
Willingness to work nights and weekends during major sports moments. (Because fans don’t clock off at 5.)
